2009 bis 2015

The Güter-Place will function like a hinge in between the Europa-quarter under construction and the Mainzer Landstrasse, in the future. The new design concept aims to framing the place spatially in a definite way, distinguishing areas for movement from zones for resting. In the middle of the place, there is a fountain, being complemented in the eastern part by a planted area with benches. Rows of trees and stanched stirrups frame the place at three sides. Material and details of implementation serve for fulfilling the increased importance of the place.
