The new building for Allianz offices concentrates the open space use within the yard on different levels. Not only roof terraces are used but there is also a yard space, lowered below the ground-floor level, with hher stem leave trees for enriching the micro climate. While the ground-floor and the elevated roof areas are well receiving sunlight, the lowered yard is more shadowed. However, even here, daylight is provided for the surrounding offices and inner staying spaces. There is an overall variety of different micro-climatic conditions within this yard. Different surface materials are seamed and connected by low gentrying vegetation. The enclosure of built form towards the outside is under-ligned by an elevated bridge, diagonally arranged towards the orthogonally laid out built form, linking the new building across the street with the existing building, exclusively for employees.
