A good orientation with establishing individual small-spatial units, strengthening the individual address of the buildings, is the major focus. The future center of the new quarter is the green-belt, extending from North to South. He is to become a green core of the Campus. The new square in the center of the area is to become meeting point and location for events. The green belt is directed – as a surface to play on - onto the square. Broad seating steps are lowered down to a sunken parterre, offering seats for open air events. In case of Campus flee markets or festivals, the whole square can be used as playground. The outer sitting areas of the Mensa and of the Event Center find their sheltered space here, too, and enhance activities. Beside the Campus Square, the university receives a major address towards Münsterstreet. The whole Campus is situated on a homogeneous carpet of bright grey tile covering. The needs of the fire brigade have been fulfilled. Belts of dark grey tile covering structures the quarter in accordance to the arrangement of built form.
